Story: Gifted at an early age with a blade she was separated from her twin sister, sent off to refine her art by her parents. After years of separation she was called home for a
celebration that her village was holding. She returned only to find her home
destroyed and literally in flames. Enraged beyond belief she drew her sword,
intent on going after those who dared harmed her home, her loved ones. Taking
down attacker after attacker, never once batting an eye as they fell; she never
lost hope in saving her family and friends. After taking down a majority of the
attackers she was caught, forced to watch as they murdered her parents. The
leader of the group marked her, notching out part of her right ear; just before
she was saved by her twin. Later helping her twin bury their family and loved
ones she swore revenge upon those that had taken so much from them.
Weapons: Dual edged katana and specialty crafted claymore that holds her family quest upon it.
Abilities: None just several masteries in many different swordsmanship styles and martial arts.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Mastered several different arts, almost inhumanly fast, agile; her armor fully covering without being constricting or taking away her range of motion. She really has no weaknesses other than the fact she is human and thus mortal.

Personality: Kind hearted to those she cares for, ruthless when out on a job, quick thinking in the midst of battle.
Story:
Early childhood~
Born in a small village off the southwest coast Ireland. Remotely set away from any of the major cities the villagers weren't known for traveling much past the nearest town since they were usually sought after by people who wished to own them thinking them nothing more than a pet. The most interesting one being Leiko Akuma, one of a set of twins. Oddly colored with dark stormy gray eyes, dark auburn hair and black tipped ears with the tail to match. She was indeed the darker one in the whole village who carried amber eyes and sandy to blonde hair even her twin sister.
Her parents having taught her diligently in the long standing traditions of their ancestors. Witnessed one day after a short session of meditation their daughter doing more then their traditional practices. Going beyond anything they had seen or experienced. Wanting to expand her horizons they sent her off to be an apprentice with a well renowned sorcerer. The other daughter they sent off to train in the way of the sword. No one not even the girls knew that would be the last time they saw their parents much less each other alive.
Teen~
Upon her sixteenth birthday she returned home showing only mild hints of the young woman she was growing to be. Honoring the request from her parents to do so, meeting up with her twin a few miles outside of their small village. Each step closer caused unease to flow through not one but both of the girls causing them to run towards their home. The smell of burning wood and flesh causing both the young warrior and mage to gag and wonder who would do such a thing.
Traversing through the destroyed village they were in shock Leiko's twins hand going for the sword she wore at her side as the moved. Neither expecting the sight before them as they reached the center. Several of their loved ones chained up like dogs others scattered and dead laying like uncared for animals. Scared both girls dove for cover inside one of the nearby crumbling buildings as the group headed out with what was left of their loved ones in tow. Relaxing afterwards and coming out to bury the dead they swore vengeance for what was done. Both knowing they should have done something when they had the chance. Separating this time with the intent on bringing those who had destroyed their home to justice and saving the survivors.
Joining once more a year or so later Leiko answered her sisters call for help which lead her back to their old home. Only to find she arrived too late her sister laid at the entrance of the village on the verge of death. Distraught over seeing her sister this way she could do little more then watch her pass on. None of the artes she knew powerful enough to be of any help. Taking her sisters torn and beaten body she buried it next to those of their parents. Turning to leave with the intent to not only get her revenge but to join her family in the next life she went in search of them. Finding them not too long afterwards she attacked launching some of her stronger spells into the midst of them. Injuring only a few before they retaliated. Attacking her injuring her critically she smiled thinking she was now to end the torment of spending the rest of her days alone.
Currently 9 yrs later~
Having survived the attack thanks to the help of an unnoticed friend she only carried a jagged scar on her right cheek that was noticeable. Having been brought back from the brink by one Shadow Predator and taught by him to further her own studies in the ways of using magic and expanding into using weapons of different sorts. Having since been taken in by the Predators and family in high standing with many secrets she only knew on the surface. Shadow even having gone so far in the time she knew him to end the lives of those that took her old life away taking the survivors from the village and finding them a new safe haven to live.
Doing jobs now for the family she sought to pay back the debt she owed them. Turning down their offer to turn her into a creature of the night. Not wishing to join them in that manner even though she had nothing to worry about outliving. Only meeting a few people within the organization she had yet to come in contact with the one that was in charge. Even though she never failed to piss off one of the females in the family to the point the other would like nothing more than to rip her to shreds. Only things saving the neko being her extensive knowledge in the magics, the high level spells she could call forth and the order given to the other from the head of the family not to harm the neko no matter the circumstance.
Weapons: A katana that used to belong to her sister but otherwise nothing.
Abilities: Can cast spells on whim controlling the elements with ease.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Able to heal on the fly, agile and quick just like her twin. Each spell takes time to cast, a chant required for the more complex ones, each one drains her according to the strength behind the spell.
No your character profiles do not need to be as long as the one shown here.. These are two of my characters.. One obviously is dead >_>;; Long story behind that. But Leikos is long to show her history nothing more.
